The design process started with the proposing phases and routes. With these small-scale interventions in the Kıyıkışlacık such as the placement of a platform terrace as a minimum improvement in the village, the piers to be built on the seaside or the coastal works to be done both re-function and open these spaces for use. At the same time, these places can be made more meaningful and open to use by placing some maps describing the region and describing the routes at the market place and the entrance of the ancient city. The aim of the project is to design the experience process of the visitors rather than just producing a building. By blending the traces left by the ancient city of Iasos with the uniqueness of Kıyıkışlacık, we tried to adapt it to today’s conditions and while doing this, we tried to make an area that is currently important for the local people more livable and experienceable. At this point, with the scenario we produced, we aimed to revive the meaning of the ancient city agora for the ancient city people in new conditions.
