MINDSCAPE MAPPING

What if in-between spaces could externalize mindscapes, reflecting internal thoughts onto everyday objects? By merging AI-generated visuals with projection mapping, the project aims to translate internal contemplations into physical, in-between spaces that blur the line between the tangible and the conceptual. MINDSCAPE: Mental or psychological area for thinking The project aims to translate internal spaces into physical, in-between spaces that blur the line between the tangible and the conceptual. Using prompts inspired by surrealist aesthetics and divine consciousness, mindscape-like terms, AI-generated image sequences were created to represent these mindscapes visually. Technically, the project uses Stable Diffusion/Compute render via Touchdesigner to generate hyperrealistic, surreal videos based on prompts, combined with TouchDesigner for audio-reactive elements. These video sequences were then projected onto everyday objects like a blank picture frame and a retro TV, transforming mundane items into contemplative installations. This approach uses projection mapping to question how internal landscapes can manifest as external experiences, making the audience reconsider the spaces they inhabit daily.
